Founded by Noel Keating in 1981 from roots going back to his first butchers shop in the Liberties in Dublin, Kepak have expanded over the years into an international meat processing and convenience food producer for the retail and foodservice sectors.
Kepak’s primary meat processing business deals with approximately 250,000 cattle, 800,000 sheep and 300,000 pigs a year, much of it going through their facility at Ballymahon in Co. Longford. Their range of branded convenience food includes Rustlers, Feasters, Zugo’s and Speedy Snacks.

To benefit from maximum efficiency, the Kepak Group is divided into three strategic business units, Kepak Meat Division, Kepak Convenience Foods and Kepak Frozen Division with a number of processing and manufacturing facilities across Ireland and the UK. Sales offices located in key European and International sites enable Kepak to react to customer care service requirements in a timely manner.

Sourcing meat only from BordBia and Farm Assured British Beef and Lamb approved farms means Kepak suppliers only deliver consistently high quality products. This ensures Kepak supplies to its customers only the highest standard products and helps in the accurate traceability for all their output.
