The Fenelon Group has its roots in Longford Town in the 1960’s. Since then it has evolved into the engineering and manufacturing business which exits today. Their main facility covers over 5 acres of land with more than 130,000 sq.ft. of covered workshops.
Specialising in the production of structural steel, pipe bridges, storage tanks, silos and vessels, platforms and stair towers, the Fenelon Group are also able to attend sites to erect their products. Fenelon also produce and install waste handling and recycling equipment and manage mechanical, piping and electrical installations.
With access to a considerable multi-skilled workforce, Fenelon Group have the ability to take a project from the design stage through manufacture and assembly to final installation on site with the provision of maintenance services thereafter. Major projects with which Fenelon Group have been involved include: Plant in Drogheda for Irish Cement; the ESB Lough Ree Power Station; a Calciner Extension project for Lagan Cement and the installation of equipment for raw mill storage at Quinn Cement in Ireland. The Fenelon Group have also worked extensively in the UK and global markets using their products and expertise in industries ranging from oil and gas to brewing and aviation.
